With Almost Jewish, Sherman steps in front of the camera as well as behind it, turning a personal question into an investigation of identity, heritage, belief, and belonging.

Jason was recognized as a quarter-finalist in 2024 by ScreenCraft, Filmmatic Inroads Screenwriting Fellowship, and PAGE International Screenwriting Awards for his science-fiction thriller screenplay Protocol 7.

Jason has conducted workshops at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. He has also contributed to Fox’s Emmy Award-winning program Xploration Earth 2050.
